University of Memphis men’s basketball student-athlete Joe Jackson was named to the Naismith Trophy presented by AT&T Midseason 30 on Thursday in an announcement by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.
The top 30 candidates for the Naismith Trophy, given annually to college basketball’s best player, have been released, and Joe Jackson has made the cut.
Jackson is one of four players from the AAC on the list, joining Cincinnati’s Sean Kilpatrick, Louisville’s Russ Smith and Connecticut’s Shabazz Napier.
