The Memphis men’s basketball team used an 11-3 run in the final four minutes of play to pick up a 65-54 victory over Samford and improved to 2-0 on the season at the FedExForum Saturday night.
- Adonis Thomas led the Tigers with 16-points.
- Joe Jackson and Chris Crawford each had four assists to lead Memphis. This was Jackson’s second game in a row to lead the Tigers in assists.
- Joe Jackson recorded three steals to the lead the Tigers.
- Adonis Thomas, Tarik Black and D.J. Stephens each had one block to lead Memphis.
